Going Rogue: Journaling is a journey, not a destination
When we write thoughts, ideas, possibilities down they become tangible. If the idea of aside or planning time for journaling starts to feel like another thing you should be doing consider going rogue! I keep pads or paper, pens and pencils, sticky notes and more all over the place. At my desk, in the kitchen, in the car to catch incomplete thoughts, ideas, bucket lists, want to know more about’s and just as general mental catch alls. It is freeing to get those whirling words out of my head and on to paper so I can revisit any, all, or none of them when i’m inclined to do so. Often the really important ones are the ones I return to and very often, most of them are mental rabbit holes I avoided because I gave them home away from my mind. There are quite a few apps that help us do the same. My current favorite is Bear. Try going rogue and see where it takes you.
